what are your wishings 4 the next OS update?

I would like to see an update on the 70 value on the volume on each pad in prog mode.

and.. if it's possible, apply a value raise above the -0 Db output volume

maybe a higher degree of pad sensitivity if that could be possible. i do like their feel though.

and (i know this is asking too much but) the chop shop feature would be dope.

All tracks to read "unused" untill there is actually data on them.This is how my 2500 works.I tried to load the settings from the 2500 to the 500 which does work........untill you try to load a sample or something , then all tracks go right back to the original way they were......I've e-mailed them on this one.

Yeah most definitely some sort of chop shop would be cool....even if it is with numbers.

I like using up to 4 or 5 kicks sometimes, so when I load a kick from a file that has like 150 kicks in it I don't like starting all the way from the beginning everytime this stinks. the 500 should remember the last sample you loaded and start you from there.

Here's another one: Let say you make a track and you save it to a folder....so inside that folder you have all the samples, programs ,and sequence info for that track. The 500 will not allow you to load just the program file from that folder even if you choose "load program" it still loads the entire folder(sequences and all) This kind of stinks because sometimes I want to just use the program to make something new with the same program. Have you guys had this problem???

yeah, that loading of the program can be a bit frustrating.
Upright, I really agree with that issue when loading a sample,
the mpc goes back to the beginning of the list. really frustrating

there should also be an stereo to mono L & R in the trim, like the mpc2kxl

+ an delete all samples in the trim mode... or whenever deleting a sample, not going back to the start of the list but the sample before the one that where deleted.

Possibility to set note repeat much faster than 32-triplets, say 1/128, to get some glitchy drumroll action...

When doing "glitchy" loops, you can make all kinds of nice effect. You can for instance make a kick or snare drum roll (using the loop to repeat the hit so to speak), and then shorten the loop time, so you get an accelerating drum roll that turns into a pitched sound.

Also, if using a very short loop, by moving the loop position in real time you can get some nice, pseudo-granular effects.
