It rocks that the MPC-1000 connects to the computer via USB, but I'm wondering if it will ever be able to utilize the connection without dedicating the MPC-1000 function to it... I wish I could use the MPC while it's connected. Switching to USB "mode" takes 3 buttons and switching back is even more complicated because Windows wants you to disconnect the USB connection through some utility although just popping the cable out the back works too. If there was a fulltime USB connection to the computer it would make things more efficient... why is there this limitation?

No big deal, just wondering if theres a better way I haven't noticed. Thanks.

I'm not going to bother with the USB connection, just use my card reader and transfer the files that way. I'm guessing this will be a much quicker way of working.

The way I describe it, activiating the connection temporarily turns your MPC1000 into a CF Card Reader. Like the above, I already have a reader, so I use that instead, it's quicker for me.

tight
1) (adj) A state of mind, feeling really good at the moment. Straight, legitimate, all-good.
2) (adj) Cool, dope, fresh.
