i remember those days well....back when listening to hiphop made you an "outsider", and listening to it in public was a taboo thing to do.

My friends dad tossed my Ice T "OG" tape out his car window back in 91.....Im still pissed about that.

Haha yeah I went threw about 4 copies of the Chronic. He'd break one, and I'd go buy another haha. He wasnt a fan of classics such as Bitches Aint Shit, Deez Nuts and Rat a tat tat :lol:

yeah i lived it. thats what made hiphop strong i think, parents goin against it. and the kids feeling so strong for it ,
my mom's broke my file 13 record that my friend just gave me and brought over to listen to , she took it and broke it and stepped on it, i was mad ,then my dad took my eqipment and my records away so i packed up and left home at 17 been on my own since then ,and still into hiphop it's my way of life. and i have seen thing and done things that i wont have done because of it ,but there's a right and wrong way to go about things.
i graduated school not with flying colors but just to get the fuc out and i could get a job to make money to buy records,
now i'm married and have kids and i live in a house,what more can i ask
for, i can't own a house ,cause it wayb to much in california but i aint moving

we just got to teach our kids what our parent didnt.

Yeah I have my son diggin with me every Sunday. My girl works doubles on Sundays so me and Elijah go out and hit up the record stores. Makes his week. Everyday he asks if it's time to go get records yet haha

how old is he?

my daughter is down with the vinyl, but she's so young (14 months)....she just tries to grab it and run away laughing, lol. funny little person for real. she's mezmerized when iturn on all my gear in the studio and kill the lights, all the gear lights blinking in the dark. she might be ready for the mpc 500 soon.

He's 4. He told me tonight all he wants for christmas is turntables. I told him me to haha. I have some decent ones now Gemini PT 2000's but I can't wait to get some Techs.

check craigslist for realz you'll score on a good deal there, im tryin to get 6-7 i need to work horse's for when i go out to play. just keep them in cases ready to go you know?

my boy's 5 and he's got a collection of kiddie records plus i got him a portable TT not the battry ones tho a plug in fisher price

JM HAHAHAHA no man i thats what i call the techs cause they like the mule of the indusrty there out everywhere and you never see them not working you know what i mean?

i got four at home but those are my baby's i have had them for to long and they can handle it but they are in retirement they are my studio tables feel me i need some tables i can just thrash on.
