The effects that it comes with are cool enough but before i got my 2500 i was using ableton live 5.0.1 for making beats with and some of the effects it had on there were amazing. Is there any way of getting more effects?

2500 manual, pg 100

DELAY
This effect adds delay to the original sound.
Note : DELAY can be selected only in FX2.

well you can order the JJ AK12 upgrade which will give you 12 more effect, like granular synthesis, sequence shuffler, auto-pan and auto filter to tempo, superphazor, overdriver, and a few more...

now that'd be cool wouldn' it? like the enhancement once offered to the asr10.

I stand corrected! :) but what's wrong with the word echo? Wasn't that the term used on the the EB16? I just tried the "delay" effect myself.. once you turn the sequencer sync on, it's really nice! Once I realized that I couldn't record the effect automation I pretty much left it alone.

There are SO many terms that mean the same thing in different gear, we just all gotta adapt to that, and try not to confuse the hell outta each other while doing it, lmao..
