QUESTION

AFTER I SAMPLE A PIECE OF MUSIC, DO I HAVE TO SAVE THE SAMPLE TO THE HARD DRIVE FIRST?

AFTER THAT, I CAN LOAD IT TO THE FLASH RAM AND USE IT IN A SEQ.


I WISH THERE WAS ANOTHER WAY TO GET A DIFFERENT EXPLAINATION OF THE MULTI, LOAD, PROGRAM PARTS OF THE MACHINE.

ITS MUCH DIFFERENT THEN THE 2000XL..... I'LL GET IT EVENTUALLY...

Sample a piece, truncate the sample (cut it in order to keep the portion you want) and save the sample to the Hd or assign the sample to the pads and make a sequence.

No, you dont have to save it to HD first. But you do have to save everything to HD before you turn off the machine.

There is RAM and the internal HD, there is no 'flash ram' like the expensive option on the MPC 2000. Once the sample is 'Loaded' its in RAM and can be used in sequences.
