yo man why not sample some honey dippers drums and use those. i just chopped up one of their breaks yesterday and put it to use. nice crisp drums. not crisp enough to hold their own, but layering with other drums is the key :!:

u'd sample it the same way as a record. the mp3 player/computer has a headphone jack, rite?
u own a sampler. there is no audio u cant sample.

There are free hats online, there are purchasable hats online, there are hats in mp3/wav/snd/sf2 files that can chopped out with a wave editor. There are hats everywhere.. Even jaem knows that.

lmbao @ hats

Sample whatever audio you can get your mits on, but tell everyone you strictly sample of vinyl otherwise you're not keeping it real.
