Triming Problem!! HELP

ok..Im using the uprade MPC1000_v304 and when it trims for me everythings good but how do i Assign it to each pad because Im looking for the Sample Cutting section where it just assigns it for me and it doesnt have just
Cancel,Z.Out,Z.In,Divide,Slice,Edit..and I click edit but it just takes me to Extract to another copy of the sample and Slice just takes me to how i wanna slice it up..HELP PLEASE..well really Appreciate it

are you usin the Akai OS 2.0 or JJ's?

it slices in mono. btw.

i would recommend doing it the long way. not that it is really that long of a way.

Trim Mode is preferably used to edit, slice and apply destructive processing to the samples itself.

Assigning samples to different pads is preferably done in Program Mode or by Mode + Pad 11 - mode as you´re using JJ OS.

Auto assigning samples to pads can also be made as you slice a sample, but that´s obviously not what you´re trying to do.

There´s a perfectly functioning manual that covers these and other basic ways to approach the machine.
