I know some of you might flame me for this stupid question but what the hell!! I might aswell ask before I spend on something I dont know about.

I want to be able to use my monitor speakers on my mpc and computer. I know I need a mixer but the real question is, say I want to record the mpc sequences/songs to the pc( I will be using pc to track/record), how do I go about connecting the audio cables??? I mean when I think about it, it seems like will be just looping the **** sounds around which is a bad thing I think. Alright heres my attempt at it. mpc output to mixer channel 1&2 then computer output to mixer chanel 3&4.. Then my monitor speakers connecting to Mixer main Output. Now what?????????????????????Mixer sub out to computer Input???????????????????????????????????????????? Is this the right way???? I dont have a mixer yet mind you, and no Im not buying before you tell me how to hook it up proper...
Pls help me out!!!!!!

I would like to thank you guys/gyals in advance!!!!!

MPC out to mixer 1&2.
Mixer splits out to PC line in and to AMP/Reciever.
PC OUT to Monitors.
Depending on your PC soundcard/AMP/Reciver maybe you can hook up the sub.

What PC card do you have? What monitors do you have? What MPC do you have? 8OUTs? What? Give up more info man..

Mpc stereo out-->computer (sound card)
computer (sound card out)--> speakers

only problem: every time you want to play the mpc you will have to listen through the computer

use the virtual mixer that comes with your sound card

YEA IT DOES DEPEND ON YOUR EQUIPMENT. BUT IF YOU HAVE/ OR ARE GETTING WHAT YOU INITIALLY STATED THEN YOUR SETUP IS RIGHT, REALLY DONT MATTER WHAT MPC OR SOUNDCARD, AS LONG AS YOU GOT A SOUNDCARD AND YOUR MIXER HAAS SOME KINDA AUX SENDS.
HOW MAN OUTS AND ENDS DOES YOUR SOUNDCARD HAVE?

THEN AGAIN U MIGHT HAVE TO JUST USE HEAD PHONES WHEN RECORDING.
