I felt limited, but agree with lampdog they are both different in certain ways.Imo I wouldn't go as far as sayin' fl isn't limited in "anyway", but it depends on which you prefer best.

i did too. i might not have felt limited when thats all i had to work with, but once i made that switch i feel like i had been missing out on a lot durin them FL years.

i think FL Is a cool lil program i use it prob every day..when i wanna give the mpc a rest...

i dont find it limeting in anyway if anything it makes me realize how limeting the Mpc is ....with all the VSTi i got ...Hypersonic 2,Sampletank 2,minimonsta,alot of NI Stuff man it makes me wanna ditch the Good Old Mpc and Sound Module Combo...

But i love my Mpc a lil more then FL i think it has a better work flow or im just good at it cuz its what i been using for many years...

But sayin FL is limeting Compared to mpc isnt smart because its acturally a golden gate to ur music needs

Sleezy, I just got an AKAI MPC2000 CLASSIC TOO. Man, I love that note repeat. The note repeat makes doing drum rolls easy as hell. It sort of difficult doing drum rolls with Reason 3.0 Man, AKAI, sequencer is really tight. In the others words, the sequencer is on point. Man, I really want to use my Reason 3.0 patch sounds with the AKAI MPC2000. If it's possible like they've been saying some of these forum rooms.

hmmm...the MPC sequencer is just so rock solid man, i dont know how to put it into words, its something you just have to hear..and something you definetly have to feel while programming.
For the longest time i was stuck on using my ES-1 thinking that the sequencer in that machine was bombay...it wasnt until i started using my MPC on a constant basis that i realized how Kick ass it reallly was.
The sequencer is a beast.
I mean right out the box stock with 21 seconds theirs so much that can be done with no effects....so many tricks that can be flipped etc.
The autochromatic assignment alone is worth purchasing an MPC.
Making basslines is a piece of cake now as compared to before.

yea man i love my mpc2000xl the mpc seq is as good as it gets imo...

personally , I have a 2500, which is my first mpc. But there is something about the 2000 that has me hooked. I thing i want a 3000 because or what other people say the warmthness and yata yata, but i thing the 2000 looks the coolest. I it lookes the best customized. I think i am going to get one but for centalmental reasons. It just look like the coolest mpc ever.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
