mute assign on a mpc4000?

on my 2000xl it has a function called mute assign

you go to program
then u open window on were it says mono/poly

u can have a note cut off 2 diff notes

i know the 4000 has the mute groups

i had a mpc2500 and it let u do both- but the mute asign on the 2500 lets u hit numerous pads u wish 2 cut off.. does the 4k do this??????
