POST GRID TIPS HERE!!

I wanna get a discussion going on the ins and outs of Grid.
Seeing as it kind of replaces Step it opens up a whole world of possibilities.
I'm liking it alot but feel I'm a novice and no manuals really cover it properly either. Come on guys, share the love!!

Check it out you have Logic 7 in your signature it is the same as logic`s seq edit what more info do you need. Pick up drum pattern guides.

i love the way these machines can be programmed on the fly. i do the same with the tr-606.
wish i had a tr-808 and a tr-909.
i got all the the programmables in that series (tr-505,606,626,707,727), but the 808 & 909 gotta wait till i can save up the cash... then the collection is complete.
btw, the cool thing about the 505,606, and 626 is the portability factor, as they run on batteries.
the 707 and 727 only use batteries for memory backup, but are still cool machines... especially when circuit-bent.

straying off topic a bit... i bent the 626 and the 727. i can still use the stock sounds if needed, but they sound so much better circuit-bent.
i gotta repair the 707 before bending it (i need to replace the snare drum slider).
i'm gonna bend the 505 using switches and potentiometers (as opposed to the external patchbay mod), so that it's more portable, where i don't have to carry a patchbay with me. but i gotta decide upon what i'm gonna throw in there, since i'll need to drill out holes in the case. so i got some planning to do.
