Making Reason a Slave to MPC1000 with M-audio 2496

i got everything connected and what not, and when i hit Mode>Record on mpc1000 i can audition the reason sounds perfectly and here everything.. but when i record from main.. nuthin happens, and when i hit tha keyboard, it shows on reason that midi is being triggered from the mpc and my oxygen 8 v2 (which is connected to my mpc1000 and via usb)...

please, all im trying to do is slave the reason to mpc.. with m-audio 2496

I have tried using the mpc as a master with diferent machines and sofware but all i can do is sync, start /stop and get the mpc to trigger and playback different instruments on midi channels on any other machine or software. But i cant get it to change anothe rmachines sequence or pattern.

Are you sequencing REASON via midi, or sampling REASON's sounds...?

im basically just using reason as a sound module.. da same u wud use a motif es rack soundmodule hooked up to mpc and usin midi keyboard controller to control is (also u can use the pads).. but im jus tryin to use reason as a sound module.. i got my drum kits and all that in my CF.. i make a lil beat.. got my oxygen8 v2 connected to midi in on mpc.. and juus tryin to get sounds from reason in mpc for melody blah blah.. anything.. u feel me now??

hey fam, check out a video that i made that shows how to connect and use reason as a sound module. look in my signature and click on the one that has video in it and go to the link that says how to use reason as a sound mod.

okay, jus run this by me tho sparq.. i hav tha oxygen 8 "v2".. and m-audop 2496.... so, i see u got tha first oxygen 8.. so i need both midi in and out goin to my soundcard?? or wha?
