I wanna use my mpc as the drum machine and sequencer and the triton etreme for synth sounds. how would i hook this up?

Acid 5, Vegas 6, SF 8 w/ 2kxl, Triton Extreme.
Acid Pro 5 (Master Sync) w/ MPC2kxl
Generate MIDI Timecode = F7 *turns on/off*
Options, Preferences, MIDI tab = choose MIDI port for generating Timecode.
Options, Preferences, SYNC tab = SMPTE non drop 30 frames per second.
Vegas 6 (Master Sync) w/ MPC2kxl
EXACTLY the same as Acid Pro 5 (menus are EXACTLY the same)
Sound Forge 8 (Master Sync) w/ MPC2kxl
Generate MIDI Timecode = F7 *turns on/off*
Options, Preferences, MIDI/SYNC tab = Use drop down menu for MIDI port choices.
MPC2kxl (slave)
MIDI in 1.
MIDI MMC = receive off
Frame rate 30

Generate MIDI Clock = Shift+F7 *turns on/off*
Options, Preferences, MIDI tab = choose OUTPUT DEVICE for generating Midi Clock settings.

MIDI in.
Global, Midi (pg1), MIDI Clock: External MIDI.
Checkmark the "Receive Ext. Realtime Commands".
Checkmark the "Local Control ON".
