SCSI Zip drive not detected

Installed iomegaware and hooked it all up properly I think, but the computer does nothing to detect that its on there.

Help please!? I need this!!

you have a scsi zip drive connected to the computer? i never did it that way. the easiest zip drive to use i think would be a USB drive. my computer always detected it when i plugged it in.

not sure how the scsi drive would work...

first of all, go in you device manager (rigth click on the my computer icon) go to manage. it is there.

if you see a yellow question mark at the scsi sub-menu , then it seems your scsi card driver is missing.

all adaptec card shoud be properly installed before connected any device.

then you need to install the ZIP/jazz driver/ tools or goes with the one include in windows. (all these are standard since windows 2000 Pro)

then remember to have a unique SCSI ID on your chain, ( ie : take 6 for the ZIP; ie 1 is the card himself).
