Yeah, a mac and a digi 002 will work fine, but you're gonna need a mac that has the firewire connection. I am looking into getting a mac myself but funds is tight, so I may start out with an older used one... good luck with yours man...

Well damn cuz, if it's like that, u might as well go head and cop the Big Pro Tools Mixing Counsel, it only runs bout $12,000, but thats chump change for you, big spenda..... That should suit you.... but for the rest of us, we'll keep our lil 001's and Mbox's, lol

How good is Focusrite mic preamps??

I got a Homestudio, and want to make it even better.

Right now I got a Extigy soundcard from soundblaster, a Behringer UB-802 mixer (I use this as pre-amp) and a AKG mic (good enough). And ofcourse my PC and 1k.

Im thinking about protools, maybe a better mic preamp etc etc.

Any tips?
