MPC 2500 Re-Sample Not that Great!!!

If you re sample the main outs of the 2500, there is a gap the beginning of the waveform. I have never experienced this with my 4000.

If you take a 2 bar drum loop, then resample it within the 2500, and then take that .wav sample into a daw, you can easily see a gap at the start point. This seems to be a flaw with the mpc 1000 and 2500 sampler.

I know you can trim this, but it shouldnt happen anyway. as i said i resample on my 4000 all the time, with no gaps.

Is there a loss of quality at all when you do this, im considering using this as a way to track out my beats.

Well...there you go. The MPC 4000 is the way to go.

and much better than using lowpriced audio interfaces...

Not tru. I use a phonic firewire mixer and it sends 14 separate tracks to my DAW at the same quality. At 450...thats the most inputs you'll get in that price range.

Ema, look into the Phonic helix or Alesis Multimix series mixers for tracking in a daw.
