Akai MPC60 MIDI out

what chu mean no note off? MPC is full midi spec.

try the gate setting?

I mean that the samples that are in the Akai MPC60 wont listen to note off (only note on). So if I trigger them, they always play as long as they are and not as long as I press the pad.

Is it possible to make them intern samples listen to note off?

I'm not sure about the old OS's, but go to sounds > program then go from poly /mono/ note off.

That will give you what you want.

I dont have those options.. I think I serieusly need OS 3.10. Thanks though! Greetz

You don't know how bad you need it until you have it, same with the scsi!!

i know this thread is old, but elmacco said in this thread that some OS v2.12 may have SCSI..

does anyone know of a way to check to see if i have it?

open it up and see if there is a marion scsi board about where the floppy drive. then you should see a ribbon cable running to the back. if not the sonnector should be attached to a connector not very far. if you dont wanna bother with opening it up, try formatting a scsi device. disc-8-3 i think..

OS 2.12 never had a SCSI option available.
OS 2.14 was the first "still AKAI branded" OS to work with the SCSI board.

ok, if its 0S 2.14 i know i dont have it.. at start up i can see that i have 2.12...
