Should I purchase a mixer to run multiple sound generators (3) into my 2000XL MCD? What is the best way to get this done? Any recommendations for a quality, but affordable mixer to be used with Digidesign 002?

Doesn't the digi 002 have enough inputs for-
your 3 sound generators and 2kxl to go into?

Then Digi to your DAW..

Yes it does, but I've noticed some producers use one keyboard/controller and have a rack full of sound gens. How are they running so many sound gens to one board? What I'm trying to do is get away from plugging and unplugging sound gens when I need them. Any ideas?

A big enough mixer/audio interface/daw to handle ALL their stuff?

Several small mixers w/ all inputs filled up and those mixers main outs routed to a main mixer/digi002?

Midi patchbay to handle all the midi routing??
