Is it just my MPC or does yours also not loop correctly? For example if you have a 9 bar sequence, and your trying to loop it so that at the end of the 9th bar it starts back at bar 1. However my MPC starts looping after the 1st bar! Is this a bug or something in the OS? Can this be fixed?

Any help is apreciated

9 bars was jus an example..even if the loop was 4 bars long, after the 1st bar the MPC starts back at bar 1 and does not go on to bar 2. Im talking about the loop option on the main window, and not a sample...any help is appreciated thansk

Weird! No I haven't had that problem my self! And can't think of anything that would be causing it. I can't think of any features that would cause that, and I don't think it's an OS problem. If it was an OS prob. there would be a lot of people bitching about it on the forum. You may have a faulty MPC!

The only way I can see that happening on an MPC that's perfectly healthy is if you are doing each bar on a separate sequence. On the sequence page it will only play the current sequence unless you highlight the sequence and turn the data wheel so it plays whatever sequence you want to hit next or hit next sequence key.

Does it do this in Song mode as well?

If this has nothing to do with your situation please disregard.

the only thing I can think of is that you have your BPM/tempo set too high.

To verify that you don't have some weird bug: Program a high hat for 2 bars along with the metronome (click) sound and use NOTE REPEAT to make sure you're on time with the tempo. then set Loop:ON and BARS should automatically be at 2. hit Play Start and it should loop correctly, read the "Now" time in the top left and see if it is correct.

Hope this makes sense.

The hi hat test passed...do u think the problem could be with that my default settings for sequences are 4 bars with LOOP: ON? I dunno wy its not working, when i got back to my 4 bar sequence (95 tempo) it only loops the 1st bar....arrghhh this is soo frustrating...

Gosh i jus got the 1000, it would suck if its broken already.. any more suggestions...thanx

the only thing I can think of is that you have your BPM/tempo set too high.

I just realized theres a looped sample in the program (ahh)...and i tried decreasing and increasing the BPM and that didnt help...any suggestions

In the Loop ON paramater, press the window button and adjust the correct loop lenght. I think that's your problem
