2000XL,MICROKORG,CUBASE HELP!!

New to the forum here's my question.Just got a microkorg wanted to midi up with my 2000xl but i did a search and it seems that i can only get one sound at a time out of the microkorg.That's not gonna work so my question is i have a multimix 8 could i just midi up everything with cubase and access microkorg sounds,get my drums from the mp and sequence with cubase?I hope someone understands what im trying to do.Love sequencing on the mp but if i have to use something else i will.

get u a pair of these and sample sounds from the microkorg to the mpc

Yeah was messing round earlier and just decided to just put one sound in cubase one by one.Thats ok but im gonna have to get a better keyboard still.
