How to Get My Beats from MPC to Computer...

What do I need to get beats from my mpc to my computer? Right now, I just record the beat into the mpc's main outs, then use usb cable to put that .wav file on my comp, but this messes up my mixes, etc.

Do I need an interface or something along those lines?

thats how you would go about doing it. unless you want to record directly into the computer. i usually do what you do and mix in my daw. computers can snag and hiccup while recording if something in the background kicks in, the mpc doesnt have that instability. try resampling each track solo and drop them into your daw for mixing.
