emu proteus pk6 or roland jv 1010

The JV 1010 is cool module for the price, if you coppin one used.

Proteus wise I would only get down with the 2500 at the moment.
(Yeah, it cost about $200 more then the JV 1010 but its 10 times better.
Sound Quality & Features wise)

Proteus gives you a lot of tweaking sounds ability so the module
stays fresh.

Nothing worse then getting some sounds and they start to be played
out in a month or two.
