How do i permanently wipe the flash memory?

its pissing me off. id like to turn on the mpc with empty tracks and sequences and programs, how do i do this?

problem solved on my own, but cheers, coz i wasnt sure what to search for

how do u exactly do this? i want to permanently erase all the programs and sounds my mpc 2500 comes with... and never have to see them again.. heh

well i neevr got erase them but, using JJs OS 3.04 go into the load menu, hit the A/LOAD tab, and select OFF with the wheel instead of internal or memory card. so now when u start up its empty yahooooOO

You have to overwrite with your own. It's in the manual.
