4 or 8 measure sequences

I use 4 bars for starting a song(ideas) or for the Intro.
I use 8 bars for things like the chorus, outro, and maybe a break down or something.

Just all depends on where im goin wit da track. Either way it all gets put into one big Song at the end.(use Song Mode to arrange track)

sometimes i use 1 bar loops, with like 20-30 different tracks, sometimes use 4, 8, 16 bars. it all depends on how i feel like working.

mainly 8, that way if i want a samaller,4 bar loop, i just truncate and make changes. def use song mode a lot.

If you want to make 4 bar loop out of 8 bars ,you can just as good use the loop mode in the main screen,without truncating :)

16 -32 is usually my starting point but you gotta be open to trying different things....ie. dont get locked into a non flexible workflow...
