Heey,

I have a blue mpc 1000 and a us-122l usb audio/midi interface with 1 mic in L, Line in L, Line/Guitar in R/Line Out. I want to connect a turntable to my mpc, and record my beats on the pc using the us-122l. I need to have a dj mixer i've heard, how many channels do i need then? How do i connect the mpc to the dj mixer and the audio interface? I also have a turntable phono preamp (MCA-76) Which cabels do i need ?

I guess you could start with the phono outs of the mixer to the MPC then run the turntable into the mixer. The output of the MPC into the interface... but if you decide to "just listen to a record" you'll have to turn the MPC on and monitor through in record mode... most mixers come with two sets of stereo outs... one to the MPC, the other to a stereo if you have thoses options...

hi dano,

I have an old Gemini PS727 DJ mixer and use the EFX send to record stuff through my US-122 soundcard onto Ableton Live. With that setup I can select which channel I send to my PC. You could do the same, when you want to record the turntable on to the mpc just plug the cables from the efx send into the mpc.

good luck!
