drum pattern on the mpc 1000

iam having a problem on the mpc when iam laying my drum pattern with time correction on i hit the pad one time and sometimes the drums hit twice and it doesnt sound the same when i play it back from the pattern i just layed

Check the input quantize...

where is that located i didnt see it in the manual

Press the TC and there you go... I suggest quantize for kick and snare as the frame then no quatize for hi hats and under percussion... The MPC has a swing on it... so sit down and get ill...
