has anyone returned there mpc to guitar center?

i bought the mpc 2500 from guitar center on dec 11th and was wondering do they give u store credit if u return it within 30 days..? ive had alot of trouble with the audio interface with my laptop etc.. the mpc just isnt workin for me. Don't get me wrong its a fabulous machine.. but i think with all the things the MV comes with.. i'd be better off with it.

Guitar Center has a 14 day return policy, not 30 days. It may be too late for you.

If you want to use a computer, getting the MV won't help. The MV was built to be used stand alone. It has large RAM capacity, a large hard drive pre-installed, and has a bunch of other things that are supposed to make you not want to use a computer. You can burn your completed songs straight to the pre-installed CD ROM. I personally think the MPC sounds better and has a tighter sequencer. But that's just me. You will have the same sync problems with the MV that you will have with the MPC.

fight guitar center for your life...lol... or... fight your laptop for you mpc... either way it's a tough battle, but you prob have better chances beating your lap top

umm I just left guitar center....and they said 30 days for returns or to buy a warranty

Reference from GuitarCenter.com below. If you look at policy 3, they considered my MV8000 a pro workstation so I only had 14 days. Maybe the MPC isn't considered a pro workstation. No biggie, looks like you might have 30 days. Don't matter to me. I'm keeping the MPC2500 til Akai comes out with a new one.
