Hard disk type?

Hi there!

I want to buy a hard disk for the 2500, but i asked myself if its really
important to buy one of these disksthat akai named on the offical site.
Could there be some hardware conflicts if im buying a normal Notebook-hard disk and install it??

The disks on the Akai web site ARE normal notebook hard drives.

They are recommended, so you can put another disk in of equal specs (speed / seek time etc) but dont come running to me if it dont work.


P.s. there are other threads if you search of disks people have tried and tested.
