is there a way to convert the MPC1000 .PGM to a 2000xl .PGM, I thought there was topic on here but i could nt find it

how about the other way around? I just sold my 2K classic and got a 1K but I want to convert my .pgms and .snds and .all files to 1K. Can this be done? I have them on ZIP disks right now but I 'm assuming I need to drop them on my PC and pick them up via USB. I tried opening up the programs in MPC editor, Blubox & MPC1000 editor with no success. Any ideas?

I thouth the only thing the MPC1000 would read was .wav, so if that is the case...I dont know how you would do it. I am not sure of a program that converts .snd to .wav

I think the 1k reads 2k .snd and .seq files - but not .all or .aps files tho. The new mpc 1000 v2 manual states this (AFAIR), I haven't tried it myself.
