resampling

why does resampling on the mpc 2000 xl take so long? even when the sample is short, it takes hours to resample it

That SoundForge is some ish isn't it Lamp???
I just started using it because my boy Young Cee put me onto it.

resampling sucks on the mpc anyway.
Its definately not like how it was on the asrx

If I resample to 12-bit does it even sound near what the s-950 can do?

i have a quick question though:

is there a way to slow down a sound i sampled (on 45 rpm and +8) so that i can chop it on the trim screen? i know how to slow it down on the program screen but is there a way it'll keep the rate i changed it to so i can chop it on trim screen?

Yeah You can go under the params screen in the trim screen...From the params screen you can slow the pitch down...But keep in mind when u slow down in the trim screen it will effect the sample in the main screen

Say for example u go minus ten in the main screen. And minus ten in the trim screen, When u exit trim it will be Minus 20... If that makes sence
