Yo, who's up for some sounds trading???

Someone hit me up with the PM and let's talk about trading some sounds up. I've got 10 years worth of records to sample from plus all kinds of other samples that I have collected along the way. If you can show me you can come clean with the good stuff, I'm down for some trading.

that's a touchy subject there.. I'll trade some TR-606 samples but as far as my good stuff, that's kinda personal there.. it took a while to build that up. If someone does want to do some trading, I wouldn't expect anything that you haven't heard before.

Oh, I ask for samples of the samples first and then go from there. I know I got the best there is and people only get the quality they send.

Most of my friends and I just give eachother the new drum samples we find. I gave one of my friends a full CD of drums and he hooked me up with a full DVD of his. I can see how you wouldnt want anyone touching your samples though ... they may use it in a slammin track and when you make something people would be like "yeahh I heard that beat before".

Personally, if I downloaded it from somewhere then someone else can too so I just exchange em with no problem. If I actually make the sample myself, that is gold to me because it took more than a couple of bones and a click of a mouse to get it ... so I'm hella more hesitant to pawn that off

Yo, I don't care how ya got it....Sampled it from your Nintendo, Vinyl..As long as its not licensed to only you and want to trade some good shiz for some good shiz, then hit me up...That's all there is to it.

Well to be honest, I've got all kinds of synths, includiong analogue and I own a Motif ES so as far as strings and synth sounds and stuf like that, I'm pretty good, althoug I'm always up for discussion. I've got many 100 meg zip disks loaded with some of the phattest 808 kicks, snares, snaps, claps, and pops you ever heard. Samples from vinyl...Funk, Punk, Rock, Jazz, you name. it. If you want it I can probably even sample it for you straight up.

Like I said, I've got over 10 years worth of digging sitting in my closet plus many programs...Let me know what you've got that's kicking and I can send you samples and you can do the same...PM and I'll give you an e-mail addie or a phone # and we can discuss.

I know some of you think your samples are gold and strictly yours but the fact of the matter is that 80% of most of the stuff out there is made with the same kits, synts, and sound modules. Just listen how often you can pick out a particular PRESET, or arpegio for God's sake from a Triton or whateva on pop radio. I've got all kinds of samples...Stuff I've sampled from vinyl, kits I've put together from various sources.

For the record, I'm not talking about trading copywritten material, just your own stash. I want to form a little MPC trade users group. I think it would be fun..It has been so far. Come join the party.

Ok, Im gonna put together a couple of little packages of stuff...

One with different Bass sounds, and One of a Live recording I did with a drummer a few months ago... Im gonna process these with some light tube distortion and light eq (for warmth) and put together a simple MPC.pgm for all to share

Since I recorded these drums on a DW kit I own them and I can share them if I wish...!!!!
