mpc 1000 to cubase

im just getting cubase 3 & i need help on recording from my mpc 2 cubase & playback can u plz help....

do you know how to record into cubase? its the same process as recording anything else into cubase

i've only just started using cubase, coming from ableton.

to get audio into cubase after youve hooked up all your cables to your interface, you have to go into VST connections and set up a bus thru which you recieve audio. basically if dont know what to route where, you have to play around to figure out which inputs go where. but its quite straight forward.

theres a bunch of cubase tutorials on google video that are great and it goes from noob level to pretty advanced. definately check them out.

dude i tried that but i couldnt find it... do you know how to do it on a mac?

its not a pc or a mac thing, its a cubase thing.

everyones soundcard/interface will have some difference in which outputs/inputs to select in cubase so i suggest you google cubase+your soundcard+no audio.

cubase forums might be a good point to start off with as well.

watch my video on "track and sync" located in my signature under the video link. i'm tracking into nuendo which shares alot of functions and features as cubase. it's basically the same for the mac as it is with a pc.
