e-book MPC 2000 XL

has someone bought this e-book about the mpc 2000 xl? when yes, what dou you think about it? is it worth buying it? do you learn a lot of tricks from it?

I bought it and it is very helpful to me so far. I am just learning and have learned a few things. I have an MPC2000 so some of the topics don't apply to me but the basics really do help. I would suiggest the purchase. It's a good reference guide. It's like a mpc for dummies book.

is it available in book form?? ya know like hardback or paperback?
or is it just something you print from your printer??

You can print it as its in PDF form I believe. Or you can put it on disc and take it to a copy shop and have it printed and bound (binded). Doesnt cost that much to do and its good to have it paperform to read on the go like trains, buses, office etc

thanks for your replies. i mean i've read the normal mpc 2000 xl book, that comes when you buy the mpc. in this book there are no great tricks and tipps how to work with the mpc. it's just the basic. goes the e-book compared to the normal book more into the details and shows you some nice tricks what you can do with samples, mixer,.... and stuff like that??

The book does have very useful tips for the beginner, eg. using the 'after end' 'play x' function when trimming samples. This is one of many little tricks that the book can teach you, that will make your new life with your MPC a little smoother. I was an absolute beginer when I bought my 2kxl, just a DJ with turntables and a load of records. Everything was foriegn in the world of making beats and sampling, and the book definately helped me get a grasp on it. So if you are a newbie in the world of beatmaking, get the book for sure. Even if its just so you can sync up a sound module with you MPC, coz im sure whoever wrote that page in the manual is from outerspace. Good luck and happy beatmaking.

Oh, and I have mine printed out and bound together, so it is in print form. But no you can't buy it in print form.
