MPC to Macbook pro

What do i need to hook my 2000xl to my Macbook Pro. I dont have anything to use to record my songs on my MP. I was going to buy a tascam 8-trak to use to record my songs on. But since i just got a macbook pro i figured i'd use that. What kind of interface do i need? or what kind should i get?
