Problem MIDI MPC 1000 & Cubase

After several tests and second readings of the handbook, I don't find how to assign a midi track in cubase (Master) to a track of the MPC (Slave).
For example: In cubase if I have 3 midi tracks which have:
track 1: “channel midi out” 1
track 2: “channel midi out” 2
track 3: “channel midi out” 3

On the MPC I have three track
track 1: “channel midi ” 1
track 2: “channel midi ” 2
track 3: “channel midi ” 3

If I play cubase (midi out) and I am on the track 1 of the MPC (midi in) then this track receive the 3 tracks of cubase.
If I understand, on the MPC midi channel can be choise track by track only for output. For input, you can select one midi channel but it's for all track and it's the selected track which receive midi.
Are my conclusions correct? I hope that not.
Does OS JJ 4.x deal with this function? Thank you for your answers.
(I tested same the config with my MC-307 and it work very good)

ok, you have this all wrong. when tracking into cubase from the mpc, all midi is used for is timing. when you track, it depends on your audio device. you have to have your audio input tracks match the mpc's audio output tracks.

Noisyvibes2 are you trying to run multiple MIDI tracks on different channels at the same time?

Eg.

Tracks 1-5 are each a different MIDI channel and recording, controlling a multi-timbral instrument or multiple MIDI devices?

I haven't had any luck with this myself, but I have hardly tried.

Yes in Cubase I have for example 2 midi tracks with 2 differents channels out. Cubase is Master Midi out.

In MPC I have 2 tracks configured in MIDI with 2 differents channels.

When I play cubase, MPC is synchronised correctly.
But the track selected in MPC received the 2 tracks of Cubase.

Please for help.

I am really not sure how to do this, as I said previously. Does anyone else know if this is possible?

you need to change the the midi filter settings, for each midi channel on cubase. cant remember exact settings

but they need to be set to local, then set it to accept the channel it needs but filters out the ones you dont then set to active below.

On each Midi track in Cubase, i select the midi output of my sound card and the channel.

Does I need to set an ohter parameter on cubase?

I dont think its possible, if i get you right you are trying to record/receive midi on more than one track of the mpc at the same time.
Only the track selected receives all the midi data.

You confirm me very bad thing.
Does OS 4.x can help me?

No and i dont think it will in the future, the mpc just wasnt made for this. Cant you just record the notes into the mpc track by track?
