help putting my equipment in a ''daisy chain''?????????

whatz good ppl? i wanna chain up all my equipment....i got a mpc 1000...m-box 2...motif rack...se rack...yamaha mixer and a midi controller...could someone tell me if this shit would work coz i dont have all the cables to test it out....

midi controller midi out>m-box midi in
m-box midi out>motif midi in
motif midi thru>se midi in
se midi thru>mpc midi in


would that work? any advice would be appreciated.......

then everything runs into my mixer for audio and then out into pro tools.....
