Any known conflicts....

After messing around with the 500 for a few days, I like it enough to keep it, so I want to upgrade it. I wanted to know if this CF card and this RAM will work...

Yes... but somebody told me that the mpc 500 only works with 128 mb(RAM)... you install 256, but it will works just at 128.
And that CF card work.

I use a Sandisk standard 2.0GB no problems. My RAM is just the same. Granted, you will only be using 128 MB of its capacity but you know that.

Yeah, newegg is nice, I've spent atleast a few grand there over the years.

so is it possible to use another ram memory then the Akai EXM128 in the mpc500?
