A help for newcomer part.2

Hello, I just got the MPC yesterday, and now ima feeling a bit optional.
I have trying to be learning this thing, havent updated new OS yet or anything. Theres a few questions:

A. Is the set start point /end point only way to get the sample? Isnt there anything automatic? Cause I could to the same with FL studio.

B.Is the tap or listening the tempo only way to get tempo?

Its been hard, and I havent (and not will) decided yet am I gonna return it to get 1500e, which i could spend on tight software or does this machine suit me. I used to use FL studio, and to be honest, I feel that if those tempo and sample slicing ways are the only which i listed above, I feel that FL studio is better. This aint no disrespect, I juts kinda feel right now that either I dont know how to properly use it yet, or this is for guys who dont like to use computers. Please give me any tips you can give.

Yea, well im like made my decision already. I will send this device back next week (money back), if my mind hasn´t changed. I will get like MPD 24, some dope software and thats it. I feel pretty bad about this, I taught I would get into this. But everything ain´t for everybody.

Have some patience. Especially if you are not used to the limitations of hardware samplers. It won't do everything FruityLoops does, and some things take longer to do, but once you get to know the machine a little better, you'll find that those same limitations force creativity, and that's when the fun starts

Couldn't agree with Rozzer more. It's an instrument, learn to play it and you may never go back. There's a reason that there are SO many people who love and use their MPCs all the time. Take the time to find out why and your music will benefit from it.

Yea sorry about yesterday, i was little angry, but today i learned that there is Pitched Phrase thing that makes all automatic, i can just get the sample automaticly, its so cool. Also the tempo thing is in timescretch, there is locate tempo. Ahh god i feel so good. Surely this will get to me, and no, at this point I aint returning it.

And the sound from the MPC, basically the converters, in my mind can't be matched by the basic project studio software programs. Again, that's just my opinion. Once I played a beat with my MPC and recorded it into ProTools, no other machine I have has provided me such a "hi" when hearing it played back. Keep working with it. I'm one of the idiots on the site who can't get my machine to sync properly, but I'm not giving up because I love the sequencer and love the way this thing sounds.

You need to put more detail in you original questions cause I didnt have a timbuck 2 what you were on about.

If you´re used 2 use software, the Mp will be a little tedious at the beginning but once you start mastering it it´s a really good piece of gear although the Akai support is the most shitty I´ve ever seen. They just want your money!!!
On the other hand, there are people like Just Blaze that stopped using mpcs and just use software. You can make incredible beats with software and with Mpcs as well, it all depends on how su feel better. I was a software user until less than 2 years ago. Now I use both software and hardware but if I have to be sincere I could put my Mpc away and still do what I want... But I also love the limitations of the Mp because they make you increase your creativity. 2 hear and not to look, I think is the Key. I bought a Novation SL Remote controller recently (which has a screen to look and avoid me to use the mouse) and I´m going back to using software. The combination is the secret!!!
