I want to play a bass sound ,that is in my MPC, over my midi keyboard as if it were the keyboard's sound.Meaning that I want to play the note variations of that one bass sound that I have. How can I do this.
Any help would be extremely appreciated.

On the 2kxl you can do auto chromatic, the 2k classic doesn't have this feature so 2k users have to MANUALLY make a chromatic pgm save it as a template and use it when they make other pgms in the future.

I don't think the 3k has auto-chromatic either, so the same rule may apply for 2k/3k users. Can someone with a 3k comment on that, I'm guessing.

Educated/Uneducated guess, ur choice, lol.

Can I get a "why not?"

I will hit 16 Levels on my 1000, and set it to TUNE. Ain't that the same thing?

He played that ish his self. Listen to a cut like "Light My Fire" for instance. I read about it in an article, but you can hear it. It's definitely not synth bass - too fat. I know on a lot of cuts he probably used his MicroKorg or some auto chromatic stuff, but if it's a bass-heavy thumper ain't nothing like the real thing baby...
