Suggestions for JJ

JJ, can you please modify your OS so that the mpc1000 can do song select or parten change so that it can change the parterns(styles) on the yamaha rs 7000 or RM1, when you change the sequences on the mpc.

I am awaiting this update. I would pay a hundred bucks just for this.

what is "parten change" ?

you can get the mpc to send prog change when you change sequence. or you can have the mpc change seq when you send it a prog change.
so you can probably fix yourself a solution by using program changes.

let us know what works.

that would be nice, but only for a very small handful of users who actually use an rm/rm1x together. So I think it's pretty unlikely to happen.

If you have a way to write and playback the appropriate midi sysex commands and record them into your mpc it could work. But probably not worth the trouble. Too bad Yamaha didn't provide an easier way to switch patterns remotely.

I wouldn't complain if JJ added it though
