deleting unused samples from ram

how is it done, i did it once before with the akai OS but im having difficulty achieving this with JJ 3.04, if its even possible?

its so annoying when i have to save entire memory just to save the effect settings

You can save the FX separately saving all sequences and song. And you can purge unused samples (program mode -> sample screen F6).
