Hi
I have a problem. In our band we allways used to sync a rm1x with ableton live, so rm1x has been master and live slave. I want to do that with a mpc 1000 instead of live. I want the mpc to stop immediately when I stop the rm1x, without the sample(s) in the mpc running to its or their end of the clock. Example: A song comes to its end. A track, for example a pianosample, is still running in the mpc. I want to have immediate silence when I press the stop button of the rm1x, like it is when I use ableton.
Is that possible? What do I have to do?
Thank you

immediate sample stopping at a stop signal is currently not available with akai's os 2.1. you have to hit either next bar or hit stop 3 times rapidly in order to suddenly stop a sample.

but check out the jj os. it allows oneshot samples to suddenly stop when you hit stop - i assume that goes for other midi device's stop functions too. PRETTY damn sure, in fact, but not positive - however, you could always suggest it and find it implemented in one of the next os releases.
