Some questions about click and racking it...

Got some questions...

1 * is it possible to send the standard click of a sequence to an individual output ? (I believe you can set the click so it always runs with the sequence ?)

for example in a live situation: I'm drumming (live drums) with a sequence and I want the click in my headphone. Is it possible to send the samples to outputs 1-2-3 and send the click to 4 ?

2 * I want to use it live but I want to build it in a case, I think I will buy an empty 3HE metalpiece and screw the MPC with the botomplate on it. How do you solve this ? I mean, how do you transport your mpc 2 gigs ? Got some pics ?

3 * Is it possible to make a .WAV from your sequence ? I mean, is it possible to record your sequence as a sample on only 1 MPC ? (output in input, record the sample and start the sequence...)

yes, there is a setting for resample.

you could send the click to stereo out left and right while outputting the rest to 1, 2, 3, 4. seems like a waste though

there's no way to have the internal click only in the headphones.

but you could always just set up a rimshot or whatever as your click (instead of the mpc's internal click) and route that wherever you like.

yup, like elmacaco said

but note that if your sequence is longer than the available recording time (i mean like how much free RAM you've got left in the mpc at that moment) you wont be able to record the whole sequence. you almost definitely wouldnt get a whole song bounced by resampling. it's more for freeing up fx by re-recording them with the fx in place. that sort of thing...

i havent gigged with it but there are possibilities -

-if your 1k came with the coupon for the free gig bag you should mail it in


- i have this aluminum briefcase thing that i got with this multi fx pedal doodad. i sold the pedal but i kept the case. the guy who sold it to me put this foam inside and it makes a great carrying case for the mpc. sometimes you can find the same sort of case being used for the transportation of microphones.
