The main screen has been already changed. Some bugs fixed and paste in grid edit has changed the button.

What do you think about main screen new look...

At first sight seems to me very clear... do you miss something?

I have to get used to the new look. From first sight at it I don't like it too much. I find the numbers too edgy.

It has added a velocity level to the Simult Sequence. At first it seems like the letters are too small but I got used to it very fast.
BTW Im new to this forum. Ive been spying on you guys for a while now; Ive had the jj os since before it costed money and it has definitely changed the way I use the MPC! The 1000 puts the old 60 to shame!
peace!

i really rate this guy, jj's finally getting the main screen there, sensible use of space, and check the track numbers! nice n large,(i've had the v433 for all of 3mins) but the best bit so far...

is the drum/midi/audio selection process!, no more stupid 'shift+f3/f4'
just put cursor on the 'drum/midi' area,n move the dial.

i just wish jj would re-apply the old akai way of naming things, was very intuitive, not any more.

I havent had much time with 4.33, as it was late last night. But I really like the new MAIN screen... even more than what I saw originally on the website.

With my limited time last night exploring the main screen, the only thing I've found so far that needs to be fixed is a typo... Program01 is mispelled as Progran01. Not a big deal, but I sent a bug report anyway. Hopefully that's the only bug I come across (but I wouldnt be surpised if theres more). Either way, JJ will fix any bugs found quickly as usual. 8)

I think the old way of naming samples is still available (just use the pads on the naming screen).

Peace

Excellent, that´s what we needed, volume for parallel seq.
Now, having possibility to choose the seq from the "next seq" page would be great
Damn, I am becoming greedy for features! Actually happy with them as they are but it is JJ "fault" coming with that parallel seq, I imagine for all them DJs the easiest to get into using.
So what`s next ?

I cant really see what was wrong with the old screen.. what i really don't like about the new one is that you cant change tracks by scorlling the wheel on the "track name", when the sequence is running.. I hope he'll change that back.
