what about simult sequence

Would it be so difficult to use the next sequence screen, just that more then one seq could be activated ?

Well, you need to only use the tracks/ Track mutes/solos etc to change the beat in real time (but not changing sequence while the verse is playing on the simult). Im sure one day there will be an easier to so this. But for now, its one way to drop a vocal track on a beat for some hiphop ish!

I found the next sequence screen really pointless.

This new simult sequence makes it very easy to do DJ style drum break change ups. Basically multiplies the power you have on the main screen, x2.

A cool feature I just thought of,

change MIDI/DRUM/AUDIO

to

MIDI/DRUM/AUDIO/OUT 1,2,3,4

Having the 4 outputs on the main screen would be nice.

no way, its totally usefull,

anyone who's structuring a song/track live, its indispensible.

also, with 'immediate play' (main, cursor on 'sequenceXX'+'window') it acts like a cut on a xfader from one deck to another,

and 'immediate start' acts like the whole seq's on a sample pad - instant kick-in! esp... with plenty of seq's number's on the jog dial....seqs come out like an ak47.

Just to add my bit, the simult seq feature is proving one of the best add-ons since grid edit, great for adding little extra melodic structures. While I'm here I reckon it would be convenient to audition samples while playing ya sequence; that is from the compact flash. Also I like using master compressor and the separate compressor for my psy drums, really adds the punch, but i use separate outboard for my bass workout
