just got an mpc-2000 dont know how to do anything with sampling can someonetell me step by step from how to get a samples from a cd on to the mpc

Well if the sounds on the cd are .wav file(has to be 16 bit 44.1hz) then load/save them on your PC. Once u save them on your PC then save them to an floppy disk to load up in the MPC. If you cant go that route then play the CD from your PC or whatever source u have that will play the cd. Take the OUTS of that particular source to the RECORD IN on your 2k. Go to the SAMPLE screen and start sampling.
I highly recommend you take time out to read the manual.

nevermind but omg just figured out how to get my mp3 player and cd player in my mpc omfgo msogmofdsgmd lol

um u turn the dial to stereo in the sample screen on the data field above the level meters.
