So MPC is a multi-track sequencer, and there is a setting on my MPC 500 about how to receive the MIDI channel, I think most of the MPCs are similar (of course MPC 500 is a 16-track seq.)at the point? (hopefully...)
Anyway, Set the specific channel to recieve is straightforward.
But when I set the MPC to "Receive All", how the MIDI channel was recorded? At first I think A1 would become track 1, and A2 would become Track 2... but wait, MPC 500 is a 48 (12X4) track device...
Now I am confused... How MPC receive all midi channel and put them into the track?
Or, what's the difference between a "MIDI Channel" and "Track" ?
BTW, the ONLY input source here, microX is also a 16 MIDI channel instrument, which is a perfect match.
