what is flash rom does it have anything to do wit the os (operating system) on the mpc 2000? can u repair it?

flash ROM is memory that can hold data, even when the power switches off, think of it like RAM in your mpc, that always has sounds on it. ready to use instanly upon power up. i think the mpc stores the OS data elsewhere.
