I turned the autoload function off when I got my mpc 2500. Everythings been fine until the other day it just started autoloading one of the demo songs from internal memory. I double checked and my autoload function is still set to off. Glitch? What else to expect? Anyone familiar with this? Is it something to worry about? No other problems. Thanks

Do a factory reset if it still buggin.

You'll have to turn autoload back off again after the reset.

OR

Turn it on, then off again see if that makes any diff?

thanks man, but how do you do a factory reset? I also noticed that my MPC doestn't recognize my CF card when I first turn it on. If I try to load from memory card there is no info. I have to scroll to internal and then back to memory card for it to read. I think that might have something to do with it. Let me know what yo think brotha.
thanks

i think you hold down "erase" while turning on the 2500. however, i think it's quite ironic that you're trying to turn off the autoload, and that doing a factory reset will actually turn it on.
