new release 4.33 main screen changed... what do you think?

i know, i know, its to be expected of a big corp from japan, but its still multinational, and they prolly ship to US as a main market, so i'd imagine they would have a more universally comfortable interface, one thats more us eu friendly?

jj i guess could be a one off programmer therefore less likely to feel any pressure to be more conservative, it'd be wierd if it turned out he was actually working for akai.

anyway just a thought, not a stone-like monument of an opinion like there are round here.

Hey...that was my conspiracy theory when JJ first showed on the scene talking about charging for an operating system. I believe/believed it was Akai's attempt to do what Roland did with their operating systems of the Fantom X line...$$$$$

i love the new look! it's not as crowded as the old one, looks really good to me! and feels good too! hooray!

ye im really feelin the new look too. picked it up quickly. i do prefer it

I Prefered the old one. I can't see any improvements.

been working with it for the last hour and i like it just fine, more accessible

what took me a little longer to get used to was the new chopping, but i really like that too. much more key oriented rather than data wheel oriented. good stuff.
